I found myself in the confines of P.S. 1 - MoMa today. I have been meaning to visit museums since the start of the year. You know, visit-one- museum-a-month-new-year-resolution-thing-a-majig.
Anyways, I started my day by bringing in my D-SLR for cleaning. I just found out that all my SF pictures had specks of dust everywhere. Blame it on a dirty CCD. Good thing there's photoshop. Midtown was crazy today with the Farmer's Market at Union Square and a rally for peace against the war in Iraq.
I was looking for some homemade organic pies but I guess I came too late for that. All that they were selling were organic applesauce and juices. So the next best thing, a greasy diner burger!
PS1 MoMA features new and upcoming artists. Artists that are more... uuhh... well, lets just say they think rather differently than normal artists. There were some that I liked, some that intrigued me and some that just didn't make sense to me. I guess art is defintely in the eyes of the beholder. Btw, the photo that I have is not part of the exhibit. Its just something on the side street leading to PS1.
